Olivia Salter
Planner
Currently, Olivia is working to provide technical assistance to the Alameda County Housing Collaborative and the City of Newark. She is also supporting the programmatic CEQA documents for the Saratoga Housing and Safety Elements, and 2040 General Plan Updates and the Portola Valley Housing and Safety Elements update. Prior to joining UPP, she worked as a Professional Intern with Lisa Wise Consulting, Inc., where she provided support on a variety of projects including preparation of specific plans, objective design standards, zoning overlays, form-based code, and a number of housing element updates. Olivia holds a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies and Master of City and Regional Planning from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. In 2021, Olivia was awarded the Gail and Arnold Jonas Scholarship for Promise in Urban Design.
