Leslie’s passion for environmental protection led her to the environmental planning major at UC Santa Cruz. With over 30 years of experience in the public sector, Leslie has focused on balancing community needs with maintaining environmental quality. Leslie’s work has included development review, plan preparation and affordable housing programs.
When not working, Leslie enjoys riding her motorcycle, leading the nonprofit Hope’s Corner, and traveling with her husband or Girl Scout Troop.
