Hannah Chan-Smyth
Associate Planner
Hannah comes to the Bay Area from Toronto, and is passionate about placemaking and creating livable, walkable, mixed-use cities. She previously served as a Research Associate at the Centre for Urban Research and Land Development in Toronto, focusing on housing and economic policy research in the Greater Toronto Area. Hannah presented at City Building Ryerson's Women in Cities: Planning for Equity webinar to highlight findings from her master's research on gender equitable planning in Toronto. She holds a Master in Planning in Urban Development from Toronto Metropolitan University in Toronto, Ontario.
Outside of work, Hannah loves to hike, ski, and spend time on the coast.
